I rarely paint a ‘pure’ landscape, preferring places defined by the people who inhabit the space.
Light and glass
Light falling through or onto a surface is a theme I often return to. I enjoy the translucency of colour on tracing paper, and sometimes incorporate collaged gauze or chiffon.
