The original Egerton Genesis is a fourteenth century book illuminated by an unknown master. My mischievous manuscript is an homage in which the seven days of the biblical Creation are woven from a tapestry of words from Darwin, who had trained for the clergy and developed his theory of Natural Selection within his own, deeply Christian, belief system.
