Devon Now turns the focus on 48 painters and printers working across the county
My painting Sea Change is on show at Teignmouth Arts Action Gallery as part of this exhibition promoted by Devon Artist Network, the organisation behind Devon Open Studios. Inspired by the experience of local fishers who are finding that octopuses coming in with warming waters are increasingly taking their lobster catches, the picture is made up of fluid layers that entangle and entrap prophetic words from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. 2nd to 14th August 2026.
